THE SPACE

The studio-style apartment is well structured with a large living area. It has a really well-equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine) and a bathroom with shower and washing machine.

It also has a very well organised walk-in wardrobe and two beds (a 140 x 200cm roll-out bed and a 160 x 200cm double sofa bed with a very comfortable 17cm latex mattress).

The studio-apartment also boasts air conditioning, video intercom, LCD TV, WiFi, and a pleasant little terrace.

THE ‘PONTE CATENA’ AREA

THIS IS A HISTORIC NEIGHBOURHOOD BORDERING THE ADIGE RIVER, CLOSE TO THE HISTORIC CENTRE OF VERONA. IT IS VERY QUIET, WELL SERVED BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND LOVED BY OUR GUESTS FOR ITS PLEASANT GREEN SPACES AND ADEQUATE LOCAL AMENITIES. IT IS ALSO IDEAL FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TO TAKE A WALK TO THE PEDESTRIAN AREA.

Convenient for reaching the historic centre (20 minutes on foot or 8 minutes by bus), for relaxing in the greenery of the ‘Lungadige’ riverside promenade (2 minutes on foot) but also for connecting to the motorway (10 minutes by car to the Verona Nord exit) or going to Valpolicella, renowned for its great wines and delicious, typical Veronese flavours (20 minutes by car).

In the vicinity of MY VERONA you will find all the main amenities you need (e.g. pharmacy, organic supermarket, pastry shop, ice-cream parlour, butcher’s shop, hairdresser, bakery, hardware store, pizzeria, post office, a bar for pre-dinner drinks, dry cleaner, mechanic and tyre repair point, green area for sports/running, etc) and quick access to the main bus routes to the centre and to the station/airport.

The medieval castellated fort commissioned by the Lord of Verona, Cangrande II, is a beautiful and romantic complex that connects the outer banks of the Adige River to the historic centre.
